Just like the title of my blog says, I need to lose 100 lbs. and I'm giving my self 1 year to get it done. There are no illusions here about losing the weight. I have had little to no luck doing it in the past. I need help!
What i don't have is a fortune in cash to fuel the over 9 Billion dollar a year diet industry (North American). Joining the gym or purchasing anyone of hundreds of video exercise programs out there are also out. I am going to attempt this gratis! I am going to attempt to put the internet though it's paces over the next year searching for Free diets, recipes and exercise programs that I can do on my own.
Where do you come in? Well simply follow my blog, make suggestions of things that you have tried that have or are working for you. If you have a product you would like me to try out and review, I am will to do that as well. Pick me up when I am down and not achieving my goals and I will do the same for you.
When I last checked I weighed 297 lbs, but that was before the holiday season and I through my scale in the garbage.
Step 1: Get a new scale. Find out my actual weight
Step 2: Set a weight lose goal per week.
Step 3: Begin my internet research.
Step 4: Post what program or recipes I have found each day.
Step 5: Post my weight with a photo of the scale each and only once a week.
So here I go! - Looper
Good luck! I lost 45lbs in 9 months last year by following the Ssouth Beach diet and committing to do a triathlon and half marathon with my brother-in-law. It was a challenge but very satisfying. I have to treat exercise like a job and drag myself to train nearly everyday. The eating is a constant struggle. Get the exercise going while you diet and the boost in metabolism will get you some good results. That will keep you going. Exercise is like an addiction now.
ReplyDeleteThe first 2 wks of South Beach are tough but make all the difference in cravings. Read the book - it makes alot of sense.
I'll be following your progress - good luck!
